She's a regular jack. Lots of color, great body shape, and transparent red fins. I have been waiting for some activity from this pair for a while lol. I've got one male and female het blue I got from another breeder that I've been growing so if these two spawn I will breed one of their female offspring to the male bgjd and this ebjd with the female bgjd, I figure that will give me a pretty clear picture of what is going on and what gives the best results as far as breeding ebjd x bgjd or two bgjd. I won't mention my other blues from breeders and the 1 I got from the lfs that I intend on crossing out with the fry from these spawns if all goes well.
Yep that was my intention and goal as far as my breeding ambition. I would also like to see what pairing yields best results (bgjd x ebjd or bgjd x bgjd) with the fry from both combos growing out side by side. I also plan on growing out any ebjd I breed to see if they develope into quality adult fish. I had ended up with so many bad ebjd from breeders because I bought fish 1" or less.
no eggs today. Lots of digging and the female is almost white on the top half of her body.
