EBJD hiding!?!?!?!?

So I just put my brand new 36" finnex led on my tank. Now all my EBJD does is sit in his pvc pipe all day. Barely even comes out for food. Is it because he just needs to get used to the new light?

Put the old light back on and see if he is back to normal. If he is normal with the old light than you know it is the light.

Could you add floating plants live or fake?

I feel like it is the light too, because he does come out when the light is off. Will he ever get used to? I no longer have the old light because it was going bad (something with the fixture itself and not the tube) so that's why I got the new light.

My wc mobas dont like bright lights at all. I'd give him a few days and if he doesn't adjust maybe look into exchanging the new light for something less bright or maybe add some floating plants.
