Thought I'd try some alternative algae control. I've had guppies and flagfish and saw no aggression so I figured it would be alright. Come to think of it, I haven't seen any baby guppies for a while...

Its funny, Ive heard how peaceful and frail ebjds are however, my 5in. male is a mean and rough lil sob, always flairin and liplockin with other fish, even ones larger then he??

I wasn't exactly suprised, I had the guppies in there hoping they'd get eaten so it was something I had planned for. My EBJD is a real pig too. He eats more than my Mbu.

nice ebjd..but not a good idea with the tnkmate choice

I'm kinda worried about my dempsey. He had a hard time getting the otto down, took him a few hours to get the tail through. Now he's paler, his fins are slightly curled, he's not as active, and he hasn't eaten. How worried should I be about this?

give it a day to let him digest.. dont be worried, until it insists... I lost my EBJD at 5 inches. Good luck to you, BTW your EBJD Looks amazing..

FOr cichlids :) But the beginning of the classification Cichlids is an answer to that all in it's self :)
