A few months ago I purchased a baby EBJD, here's some photos.
When I first got it

Month or two later, tail got shredded, too small for predator tank.


Here are some recent pics, one side of face a bit scraped up from panicking, should heal soon.

is that a he or she? i cant see the spangles very well, but anyway beautiful ebjd!! how big??

No clue on sex, I'll vent when it's bigger, it's about 4-5". Most report slow growth with these guys but mines growing quite fast... I've only had for 2.5 months or so

Thanks Jill! I wish I had gotten a better pic of his other side, without the scrapes. Oh well I'll just have to try again
