EBJD Sexing

Hey Everyone its been a few months since iv posted about my little EBJD's, i still have both of them and they are growing strong. The bigger of the two which has less color(always like this) is about 4 inches now and i feed them both a mixture of Cichlid pellets, flake foods and live garden worms. I was just wondering if anyone is able to sex my EBJDs yet? my suspicions are that the smaller is a male and the larger is a female but i could be wrong, any info is appreciated!

if im not mistaken the one with the blue gill plates is the female, and the other with the jewels up and down his body will be the male

there isn't really a way to sex ebjd's without venting. the gill plate trick doesn't work because with ebjd's both male and female can have it.

Thanks for the reply's I will prolly wait till they are a little bigger to check their venting situation, any info for what I'm looking for would be appreciated

Haha your welcome to pick some up if I get that far, I currently have the 2 EBJDs and a few normal blue gene jds I can breed them with, now they just need to grow faster!
