His fins look very long. :D You should start a new line of long fin EBJDs. :D

It's already hard enough to keep the regular electric blues alive, can't imagine trying to raise an even more delicate electric blue variant as the long finned ones would undoubtedly be.

There are a nice breed of long-finned EBjDs out there. Take for example Rick's strain which took him several years to develop, but turned out monster EBjDs like this dominant 10" male

Eh, could care less about the fins if the body shape is like that. If I were an EBJD breeder I would focus more n trying to develop a more hardy strain where you don't get a 75+% mortality rate.

Whats wrong w/ the body shape?
FYI, Rick is known to have the hardiest strain of EBjDs that are free of deformities or mutations, and have a strong immune system in the nation.
That one pictured w/ the nuchal hump was the dominant male in a tank of 30+ monster EBjDs.

Anyways, the OP has a nice strain of long-finned himself!

Looks deformed to me, especially the head. Might be the angle but the form of that fish just looks bad to me in that picture.

Aye, have to agree with Fish on Fire there. Looks ugly to me. >.o Nuchal humps on many fish don't really attract me, but at least still look alright. This one just looks gross. The body shape is fine but the head is urgh. >< But I guess to each their own, plus hey, I guess if he managed to counter the deformities caused by EB then I'm sure it still garners a lot of interest nonetheless. :P

But yes, OP's strain looks nice. :D
