Eh, could care less about the fins if the body shape is like that. If I were an EBJD breeder I would focus more n trying to develop a more hardy strain where you don't get a 75+% mortality rate.There are a nice breed of long-finned EBjDs out there. Take for example Rick's strain which took him several years to develop, but turned out monster EBjDs like this dominant 10" male

FYI, Rick is known to have the hardiest strain of EBjDs that are free of deformities or mutations, and have a strong immune system in the nation.
That one pictured w/ the nuchal hump was the dominant male in a tank of 30+ monster EBjDs.
Anyways, the OP has a nice strain of long-finned himself!
