EBJD with Rams?

I have a 55 gallon aquarium that I am looking to make an EBJD the centerpiece of? Would it be possible to house the EBJD with some rams? If so, how many? I also wanted to add a large school of tetras if possible. Would this combo work?

EBJD are usualy more laid back than the standard JD. I would say that IF you added the EBJD last that it should work.

that is a really good idea, sounds like a really pretty tank. some of those rams can be really nice looking, and i like how many different kinds there are, good luck! post a pic when u get it all set up!

Thanks for the feedback. How many rams do you guys think could be stocked with the EBJD? Also, how many tetras without it being overstocked?

4 rams and 6 tetras.

It should work out fine. I currently have an EBJD in a 55 that also has 2 balloon rams. The EBJD doesn't bother them other then a little bit of chasing when they get a little too close to his food.

1 EBJD
4 Rams
20-30 tetras

Could possibly more rams be added and less tetras?
