at what size do EBJD become less fragile? i have the opportunity to get a 3" EBJD for $25

wow 25 bucks around here they cost 60 bucks and they are only 1.5 inches

i found the guy on craigslist, a LFS around here would prolly charge like $80 for one that big. for .5-1" ones are like $45. the guy was selling off a few other large cichlids also

Get em'! Mine are 4" now, had them since 3/4" and they've never been 'fragile'. Always fast and active and eat everything I put in there.

all fish are fragile(except convicts). Every fish if cared for properly won't die!! If your water quality is always taken care of you can't kill a fish. I have kept all "Fragile" fish FW and SW and none of died from being fragile? There is especially no fragile cichlid thats for sure.

ive heard many stories of 1-2 inchers dieing for no apparent reason. a local breeder in town here was breeding them and gave up on them because he was loosing to many before becoming of good size. weak genes i guess. not really sure though as ive never been into jacks or ebjds.

EBJD are...they can be tough just monitor water conditions.

very active, guess you just have to handpick good stock
