i have a 3 1/2 electric blue jack dempsey and he is in with a severum, geo and a blood parrot. the EBJD is soo mean he flares at my geo who is bigger then him. i was wondering if a firemouth or a salvini would be ok with him?

it should be fine, just make sure to start em off at a pretty similar size.
but if i wee you, i wouldnt take him out of that tank. cichlids fight, its in their nature. as long as there is no harm done, i see no problem.

ok but my blood parrot will not come out because of the ebjd. and the blood parrot little bit smaller then the blue.
bp's are generally more aggressive than jacks. if you want, rearrange the tank to mix up dominance, and let everything reestablish and see how it goes. but truthfully, ebjd's are some of the least aggressive central americans ive come to encounter.Loves severums;3453422; said:
