I have a 55 gallon tank(48"x12.5"x21"high) with 3 rainbowfish, some tiger barbs, and a rotkeil Severum. I want to get a pair of ebjd. Would that work?

Tight fit, to be honest. Could be done, but it would be a lot of water changes...

I'd think an EBJD pair would be expensive enough to put their own tank, especially if you want a chance of successfully breeding them.

You can't breed a pair of EBJD. You'd just have two nice-looking fish.
