EBJDxTRIMAC?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have never tried it, and at first thought, no way.....But then now that I think a little more, I am going to say, it is possible....Ugly, but possible...lol

damn i was hoping for a pic, I clicked this link so hard and fast my mouse nearly shot of my hands.

*sigh*

I am just curious to see hybrids of as many fish as I can, and anything with a ebjd would be awesome IMO.

that would be awesome i would call it the ebjt(electric blue jack trimac):naughty:

probably wouldn't end up with the electric blue look

EBJD is a recessive trait, like albinism.
it would not show up in the first generation.
The second generation it should show up in 25% of the fry, would be interesting to see if viable.

The chicken's motives are very clear.....it's trying to prove that it's not a chicken

Having a blue color morph in the second generation only assumes that the allele would be passed on in the same fashion for a color morph in both species. Since it is still only theory that allele is on a single strand and doesn't require two branches to throw the morph. THe only way to prove it would be to breed it out in a hybrid i suppose.
