eco aqualizer?

Its like those " as seen on tv " products. They get you all excited.
But IMO its junk. Regular water changes will do what that thing promises.
 
ok so I let one of my planted tanks a 40b get algea out of control and bad water chem. Things were getting pretty bad. well I wanted to see if this eco aqualizer things would make even the slightest difference. Well I was very pleased with it. In a months time the tank is crystal clear while some algea is still present the majority is gone and water chem is not great but it has gotten to acceptable levels. so now I am gonna take it off and try it agin.

I'll post again when the next run is finished

Please do, because it is physically impossible for this thing to do what it claims it does. To increase "reactivity" it would have to encourage either water to turn into hydrogen and oxygen or vise-versa. Sorry; not in any physical universe I learned about in chemistry or physics.
