I keep seeing this product (ECO-aqualizer) advertised and seems very tempting especially with the promise of 75% less water changes, better water quality and all that stuff that is good for fish.

Any comments or experiences with it?

Howdy,

I checked out their website, and it looks absolutely ... ... I think it'd work even better if you only plug it in at full moon only, and while you throw three shrimp pellets over your left shoulder and say "retaw s'knat ym fo flah egnahc dna yletaidemmi gniht siht gulpnu lliw I" backwards ;)

I think anything sounding too good to be true is probably not quite what it promises...

i jsut took a quick look at it, and it looks like a uv sterilizer or somthing. but i agree, if it looks too good to be true it is. Nothing will replace changing water.

my lfs tried one out on a fresh and salt tank it made no difference what so ever they said just a waste of money

Man, those things have been around for years! I can't believe they are still getting away with selling that junk. I guess the saying is true, "There's a sucker born every minute".

I saw the ad in AFM and checked out the web site...Can't imagine that if it really works, that I haven't met anyone who has it...
....But if you do try it, and it does work please let me know :)
