Anyone know of or use this? Saw an ad in the new TFH and looked it up http://www.junomultimedia.com/a3m/octagon/index.htm. Guess I'd mainly be asking the overseas crew.

Might order one to try in the pond...

kinda seems to good to be true i dont think any products out there can really eliminate water changes

I dont expect much info as is but PLEASE dont comment unless you have something to say about using the product which is what I asked... TYVM

I might try this in the pond too, but what exactly does it do? These promises sound pretty far fetched. You would need to add a buffer regularly so the pH doesn't drop.

did you click the link and read anything or just the list he put? try How its made...
or here's a simple quote...
Simply put, EBB is a natural way of cleansing the waters. EBB is obtained through natural means and hence do not cause harm to the human system as well as the environment. EBB is so effective, less intrusive and come in different sizes and forms that they fit in well into the existing system seamlessly. In a nutshell, EBB exploits the nature’s power for cleansing water naturally.

Especially in aquariums rearing ornamental fish, EBB adds further to the aesthetics while ridding water of odor and increasing water clarity.

Basically you put the alloted pieces in a tank or pond and for 3 yrs it gives off whatever is needed to keep the water clean. So instead of always buying conditioners and what not, thats already doing the job.

I sent a question asking for more info and difference between Oct and Aqua. Once the new yr starts I'll order for our pond (if we ever get it setup right, D) and a tank.

I still want to check this out before I get it. Sounds like it has "live rock" type bacteria for breaking down nitrates.

Still no overseas asnwers, do they even look in here... guess I'll pm some members directly to ask.

i have a perfect test tank as it always seems cloudy and the pond is another great tester. would be better than BS every so often or uv useing more electricity.

UV has its benefits, it kills parasites and no block can really guarauntee that.

dude, seriously... do you read & comprehend or just babble.

Aight Co, we gonna order this and the solar next week. PM sent and check yo phone damit

I've asked for a MSDS sheet on the EBB, no response yet.

Looks likes resins...Sure would be nice to know what we're puttin' in our tanks BEFORE we do it.
