eco-complete too rough???

I have a motoro ray and I wanted to bump her up to the 125g, but it has eco-complete sand in it. would this sand be ray-safe? here is a link to the sand: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Product/Prod...p;N=2004+113555

go with some silica sand (pool filter sand). eco complete would be too rough for your rays. they are constantly rubbing agains the bottom. i use eco in my african cichlid tank but they are rubbing the bottom less often than rays
