Hi there. As some of you know I am converting my 120 gallon, 4x2x2 tank that was previously a planted discus tank to a sev and hopefully geo tank.
About 1/3 of the tank has ecocomplete covered by pool filter sand the rest is all pool filter sand. The sevs are redecorating so there is a bit of a peppered look to the sand which is ok. Question is, apart from the aesthics involved, do I need to remove the ecocomplete for the geos?? If so anyone know how to do it without a complete teardown?? Thanks Sue

, just wanted to make sure there was nothing in it that would hurt them. I guess its the older stuff as the particals seem to be pretty uniform.
