Has anyone had luck with the ecocomplete substrate because im pretty knew to planted aquariums and dont have a clue but i heard this is a good substrate. Also i was wondering how would you vacum the gravel without damaging the plant roots? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance Aras

It works well and as far as gravel vacuuming it goes...It is light and it does get sucked up easy. Just suck out the mulm on the surface often as you can!
I have it in one of my planted tanks and it does a good job. I just go over it lightly to remove anything sitting on top. There is no need to do deep cleaning in a fully planted tank as the plants will use the mulm to their benefit.
