My fiancee and I realized we couldn't afford to go to Loyola and Tulane, so we withdrew three weeks after school started and came back to SC with plans for her to go back to her old school and see if she could get her scholarships back and for me to go to Clemson and for both of us to start in January.
Well, her plans have worked out; she's going back to her original school and pretty much getting a free ride.
The only thing that's keeping me from going to Clemson is my transcripts. They want something showing that I withdrew from Tulane, but Tulane won't send anything from this semester until December, and that doesn't even matter because due to the non-refundable fees and crap AND them charging me $3600 for adjusting my schlolarship from last fall when I was only part-time at the school I was at (due to Hurricane Katrina), I now owe Tulane $9000 and since I can't pay it, my transcripts have been blocked. I sent Clemson a copy of my withdrawal form, but since it wasn't sent from Tulane, they won't accept it.
I mean damn...the woman I talked to on the phone pretty much said I was in as long as they had that sheet from Tulane. I think I'm just doomed never to have a complete education
and on top of that, I have to get rid of two of my fish because I won't be able to afford to keep them for very much longer. How much does that suck?
