i have a red claw lobster about $inchs big. i want to get an eel but dont know if the lobster will eat him.

Red Claws can be fairly docile and are often seen housed with a variety of fish, however, they are still able to readily catch fish and eat them (and even docile ones will do it out of the blue sometimes). An eel will be another bottom dweller that will be inhabiting the same area as the crayfish, so you're likely to run into some issues just based on that alone.
