I had a wonderful peacock eel for all of 3 days. I woke up one morning and he had a knot in his stomach. The night before I had been watching him pick up rocks and spit them out.
Throughout the day he got worse and worse, and started laying on the bottom oddly and then started bobbing upside down, like he couldnt keep himself straight anymore.
He was dead before we went to sleep.
It is possible he swallowed a rock and died that fast??
Ive had other eels, and never had any issues like that.
