Eel Catfish (Tandanus tandanus) growth rate?

Hey guys, I have an 8" eel cat in a 210 gallon and he isn't growing too quickly. My vulture cat is outpacing him in growth rate and I don't want to find him eaten in the next year. Should I be looking at housing it in another tank or is there any way to accelerate its growth?

Vulture catfish are scavengers. If you keep them fed, I don't think they'd go after tank mates. A few exceptions I have encountered had to do with certain discombobulated, freaked out, and perhaps injured tank mates and a pack of vultures.

Not many on here keep eel-tail catfish. I keep a pair of Plotosus canius but that won't help you. Mostly Australian peers do and once in a while they chime in. You might have to wait a long time or maybe you'll get lucky...
