Just got a new peacock, after getting rid of fire eel bc of Size. Also got a smaller tank, any temporary things I can put in top of tank so he won't jump? I will make a DIY eventually

This made me LOL for some reason, but he's got a point.
Get the measurements of your opening and run down to Lowes and buy some plexiglass and have them cut it to size. Dunno how big the tank is, but 'smaller' to me indicates that you could probably get away with one sheet. You could probably do this for like $20.
LOL I know I can get a lid. Thanks though, but it's a 40 gallon. I don't get paid until tomorrow, I meant for tonight I need something, and tomorrow while I work 11-7.

Yeah I actually just put cardboard up all around it with duct tape lol hopefully that works until tomorrow
