eel food

hi.i just bought a fire eel 4 days ago.it ' s 21 cm long.i fed it with tubifex worm,but it show no interest to the food.can anyone give some advice for the proper food?or should i try larger food?

To get it eating start with frozen bloodworms, if the tubifex is freeze-dried, the fish probably doesn't even recognize it as food

bloodworm?ok,i will give it a try.but,can this food provide suficient nutrient for the eel ?and how do i know if the fish big enough to accept livefood?

bloodworm would be part of the diet, but for now a good way to get it eating. Im sure much better nutritionally than tubifex. Usually people use the live food first to get fish eating, then switch to prepared and frozen food...not the other way around. I avoid live food being fed to my eels
