I have a habit of collecting native plants for my tanks, but usually have trouble getting IDs. So this last spring i took what the locals refer to as eel grass or tape grass from the susquehanna river. It has gone from one 3 inch shoot to 7, 6 ft long, plants that sprawl across the top of my tank. I was wondering if anyone might know what the botanical name is for this plant. I cant post pictures, but the best description i can give is its long thin strips of green that multiply by roots shooting up away from the parent, it grows very fast, and so far has done extremly well in low light....i know without a picture its tough but like i said its a native to the susquehanna river and smaller creeks in my area of PA
