Eel? Gymnothorax moringa ...is this for fresh water only?

G. Moringa is actually full-marine and could grow to 2 meters. I never captured or procured one, as they common around USA and Mexico, but not so common in my country Indonesia.

As for freshwater morays, only two species could thrive in salinities less than 1.005sg, which are Gymnothorax Polyuranodon and Echidna Rhodochilus (Whitecheek moray). The other "FW" morays such as G. Tile, Strophidon Sathete (Giant Slender Moray), Uropterygius Micropterus (Snake Moray) and the likes which often ventured to our rivers are actually estuarine, they spent much of their time in the rivermouths and going further inland only to hunt for prey.
