eel id please

The ones I've seen that look similar were labeled tulip eel also. Don't know much about them myself, looks cool though.
 
Synbranchus marmoratus - a species of swamp eel. Get large (3'++) and have jaws of similar strength to a lungfish - a bite from a large specimen can easily crush fingers. They tend to get more bellicose with age and some aren't opposed to biting at anything that moves - should be kept alone at larger sizes.

agreed, they are real monsters, will mistreat almost anything you put in the tank.
