Tire track. Is he healthy? Or is that just sand on him? It looks like he is shedding his slime coat. And there is something I don't like about that third pic. Not sure what, though. Looks banged up.

No that's sand.And this is his first day in the tank. 5 hours ago there were 6 of them crammed in 12ins X 12ins tank....
He has just eaten dead bloodworm on his first few hours

Thats good. My TT eel didn't eat for a week when I first got him.

Standard TT.
Once you get it eating prepared food it will grow very fast.
I suggest trying meaty foods first, shrimp, earthworms even a few feeders if it doesn't eat for a month.
