Had this guy for a little while now hes grown about 2" maybe a little more i have no idea of what type he is and how big he will get.

Looks like a peacock eel :). Max size about a foot.

Thanks...they had it labled like black lepord eel or something like that, but i was hopping a little bigger but a foot isnt to bad.

This, and your pic Raph is NOT a peackock. Its a Black Leopard Eel...which is really IMO a tiretrack variant. I had one that ate everything and got super huge. It was hogging all the food so I sold it. They get well over 12in bro...Think tire track and this eel is likely identical in size.

Kollosus is right,expect at least 18 inches,this is from the genus Mastacembelus,all the smaller ones such as the peackocks are in the genus Macrognathus.
 
It is definitely a tire track eel, I have one with a similar pattern. It will grow to at least around 24-28" if cared for properly, and could get to a little over 3'.
