hi yall just wondering can a tire track eel or a fire eel live in a 55 for life if so do you recomend any tankmates?

darn are there any other eels i can put in there that are preditory that can live with a poly

what about peocock eels can they eat fish?

Peacocks should be fine. I have one in my 55. So far all he cares to eat are worms. He's in there with a betta, gouramis, danios, tiger barbs, and red tail sharks. Never seen him mess with anyone in the tank. And that's with the gouramis trying to steal his worms. lol

lol yeah i have gouramis in my aquariums too but for what ever reason one turned aggresive and i had to put him in a55 and he never really bothers my other fish i think because thare bigger but when ever i put small fish in like feeders he attacks them? but all my others still seem peaceful

Peacock eels are the more peaceful of the eels. I have seen mine let ghost shrimps walk over there heads and not do a thing to them. My other eels are a different story lol.

Yeah. We decided to name our peacock "Spot". Simply because of the spots on his tail and because he reminds us of a dog. lol
