i have had my freshwater 20 gallon tank set up for about three months now and im getting an algae outbreak.not much but i dont want it to get insane.
i have two peacock eels happy and healthy and six black skirt tetras
i was thinking snails but i dont want an infestation, or shrimp they might work but i also have eels soooo...., then there is plecos or algae eaters but they might invade the eels hide outs so im not sure.
i could really use some advice before friday this week at 4:30 because thats when i go to the lfs

thank you, please be polite, smart, and informative-TREVOR

How long are you leaving the lights on? what kind of lighting and how old? Phosphate? nitrate? nitrite? is the tank getting any natural light? 20 gals is small for what you have now so I wouldn't add anything and think about a larger tank.
