what do you guys think about a few convicts and firemouths in a 75 gallon with a peacock?

Cons are the main issue. Once they spawn, they may harass other tankmates to death.

Keep the Cons all one sex ( female would be best ) and you should be fine i'd say the only issue would be that the eel may have trouble getting food

it should work, if the pair is small, they most likely won't dominate the whole tank to the point of serious injuries
