I currently have a blue lobster in my 125, and I'd like to get a spiny eel, however I'm pretty sure that's impossible without them trying to eat each other, so I'll probably have to get another 125g tank. Any other suggestions?

Depending on how large the eel is then, yes, it will eat the crayfish, either whole or in pieces after a molt.

in situations where the eel is smaller you can also end up having the crayfish pick at the eel
