Does anyone know what happened to my tire track eel? I woke up 1 morning and he was laying on his side with the middle part of his body up in the air (okay water). He was in with a 2" oscar, a 2" RTCxTSN (if you want the cat check the classifieds) and a pleco. What happened? I didn't check ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates.

First, RIP tire track eel.

Now,
How big was the eel?
How big is your tank?
Substrate?
Filtration?
Temperature?
Diet?
New introductions?
Any water buffers or additives?
Please get ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates.

Possibilties-
Choke on rocks.
Sharp objects/pebbles hurt him (eels should have sand) and gets infected
High ammonia
Small tank
Heater Burns

The list goes on and on, I need above info

4", 20g (I don't know if thats OK sorry if its not), small gravel, Whisper 30g filter, you are going to hare me but unknown, flakes? and feeder gups, none, no, sorry. No scars, probably small tank.
