Does anyone know of any eel that can live with sa cichlids but doesn't get as big as fire eels? Like in the 15in range

He is also a much more aggressive feeder, you can see him taking food from the ghost knife in this video. I kept two peacock eels in my old geo tank it was a very nice combo.
Kept a Zig Zag Yellow Tail in a CA/SA mix tank years ago. Great personality, wasn't shy, begged for blood worms and let me feed it by hand. It also photobombed pretty much any picture I was trying to take of any other fish in the tank (begging for worms). I miss that eel...

True zig zag eels get just as big as fire eels http://www.fishbase.org/summary/10140 i know m. circumcinctus is also called zig zag eels http://www.fishbase.org/summary/Macrognathus-circumcinctus.html wich its seems the above poster has is a nice smaller eel choice also.
