Effects of Greatsutff foam?

What are the effects of greatstuff expanding foam in water? Is it safe for fish? Would anything change if i used krylon spray paint over it?

they are both safe to use just let paint dry thoroughly for several days after using and some would prefer pond foam but I have used both to great effect and great stuff is a few dollars a can whereas tetra foam for ponds costs like 12 bucks a can at Lowes.

Great Stuff makes a foam for ponds. That's the stuff to use.

aclockworkorange have you tried the regular non pond type?
