What's the longest time it takes for cichlid eggs to hatch and the shortest time?

Will a male guard the fry even if the female was removed while they were still eggs

What's the best age to remove the parent or parents form the eggs or fry

Eggs can hatch anywhere from 24-72 hours, depending on species, temp, water params, and luck for most ca/sa cichlids. Again, depending on species, I usually separate fry and parents around 3 weeks. If they get too much bigger the parents can see them as competition. The male may still protect eggs/ fry with no female present, although its more common practice to remove the male if breeding aggression is too violent c
