Eggs are laid! but question?

my flowerhorns breed yesterday but I want to no is it normal for the female to keep the male in check? she does like mini charges at him sometimes and he'll do the same thing back no serious fighting just like little squabble's here and their is that normal? any info? Eggs look fertile she's taking real good care of them and he's not trying to eat any so i was just wondering what you guys think?

Yeah the squabbling is normal but watch them closely and separate them if it starts getting bad. Fry/eggs can really stress out a pair. The female can raise the fry by herself but if they can do it as a pair it will be better for next time. Good luck with the fry any pictures and what kind of flowerhorns are they?

If you actually want to raise these frys, be careful of the male, he might eat the eggs/frys.

Eggs hatched yesterday males not eating them he just looks at them time to time. male is a ZZ Malau females a thia kml
