my cons in the 30 gallon had eggs about 5 days ago and it just hatched. should i take the fry and put it in a separate tank or just leave them there? should i be feeding them right now?

Leave them with their parents, they will take excellent care of the fry. Keep the adults well fed, and the babies will get their food.

the cons won't hurt them so keep them in the tank:drool:

so when is it a good time to feed the fry? because i bought some hikari first bites. would it be a good idea to put them in the breeding cage that hangs on the top of the tank? how would i catch the fry????

no not a good idea.. as the others suggested. LEAVE THE FRY with their parents. the parents will take care of them better than u.

u can feed them anything basically from brine shrimp, daphnia to crushed flakes.
the parents can feed them to by crumbling their own food and spitting it out to the swarm.
