My driftwood has tiny bubbly specs on it, weren't there before. Either the Neons or Gold Barbs laid eggs, or my driftwood has ick. I have never had ick on my driftwood, but I did have the clap once. What do you think?

Brush some with your finger, if they float them pop they are bubbles. it is not unusual for bubbles to form on surfaces in a tank, esp. if you have a bit of algae.

Definitely not air bubbles. Either it's gunk or eggs, but it wasn't their yesterday.

It's not attached to the wood, just sitting on top of it.

Gold barbs and neons will both produce scattered tiny clear slightly adhesive eggs but neons hatch in 22-28hrs at around 78F and gold barbs at between 36-48 hours.

it could be a number of things- gunk, snall snails, another kinda organism or hopefully the eggs your looking for. could be a good suprise.

Not many left, I may try a spawning mop.
