eggs? so tempting

OK my festae pair have to have eggs in the pot I recently been playing around with my set up but finaly got it right I guess cause the flower pot that I fipped upside down and put a hole on the side the female will not leave for nothing just pops out to shew others away had to buy sinking to make sure she eats been like this for 2 days the male who never shows his bars started to but only gets really dark when near the pot and then lightens up when swims away it really tripped my neighbor out but I cant see in the pot but I want to so bad :nilly: I know I know give it time but what should I be expecting soon will the fry swim out of the pot or will they spit food inside for them how do I know if I got something going for sure sorry for the write up but had to vent this one out
 
hey chris!!! that's my girl!!!.....be patient. looks like she dropped some eggs. eggs hatch in three days. another 3-4 days to become free swimming...and they will be out of the pot....what a rush! keep me updated!

how's the freddies doing? honduran jag?
 
They doin good well the freddy is aggressive Iam glad he is the smallest in the tank he pics fights with everybody tail is healing slowly not sure if split will fix looks like it though, jag fit right in been trying to get good pics of him but the blue wont show in the pics looks like regular in the pics kinda sucks he's an awesome fish wouldnt mind just setting up tank with just a monster pair of these but back to thread yeah they have to have eggs in there here's some pics to speak for me lol:naughty:

Finally seen a fry this morning but the female herded em back in the cave cant see anymore but all she does is look for food and takes it to the cave... so I set up a feeding system for the fry. Is an air tube placed inside the pot through hole on top then attached to a baster fill the baster with food and squeeze it in. I'll up date when fry is larger and more visible.

So cool and great looking Festae , both the male and the female have fantastic colouration.
