Eheim 2028 primer gasket

I recently acquired a 2028 Eheim proII canister filter... build date was in 2000 and has been out of service for the last 6 years and previous owner just put it away without cleaning it...

I cleaned and am still cleaning it but gaskets are a total mess they are all compressed, took a while to even get the primer to move...

Neways.... I've got and am getting all new seals for this thing, but i am having problems locating the primer gasket...

I found an aftermarket source AtomicRice .

Anyone use this gasket before? does it still hold up the seal after the second prime 6 months later?

$15 shipped doesn't sound bad for all the guess work taken out of trying to size up and match a $7 O-Ring at the plumbing supply house.

Yes, I bought my primer o-ring from them and am very pleased with it. It's been in my 2028 for over 6 months now. The instructions on their web site are very good. The only time I might use the primer button is after cleaning out the hoses and even then, I just prefer to prefill the hoses with water and skip using the primer button.
