eheim 2215 issues

so i got some good ro water for the 75 gallon native tank grow out and i got a eheim 2215 for it . the stand its on is a ez titan stand from drs fosters and smith.
when i tried to prime it water went down and in one side and back up the exit line well when i plug it in the water gos back into the tank out the intake and theres alot of bubbles too
it looks like it wants too start but does not . could it be the pump is not strong enough for the height of the stand and tank? its rated for a 93 gallon. its the middle size filter that eheim makes.

Sounds like there is still air in the filter. Keep trying to prime it and it will eventually work itself out.

Any excessive sagging in the hoses? can they be made shorter? all the clamps on hoses tight? seal good on motor head ? impeller area clean, nicked?

New, hold intake and return under water to let them fill up then close valves and install. Once installed open the valves and the canister will begin to fill. After the initial setup there will be water already in hoses so its just fill canister, open valves and power up.

while running aand making sure hoses ARE secure ,shake the canister, trapped air will expel and then water flow will pick up and run, worked for me many times

i measured the lenghts to see if i could shorten them any more shortening on one of them and it would not reach the tank . all of the valves are secure and the connections are secure. the impeller looked like it was stuck so i un stuck it it nearly started but did the same thing it did. i started it by siphoning it with my mouth as i didnt have a start valve primer. i also sounded like something was loose in it too when i first tried to prime it. the canister is slap fool of water and theirs water in both hoses on both sides of the canister. i had have several eheims over the years and have only had this issue with two of them. its possible it might be missing an interenal part or their is something loose in it.
