Eheim 2217 Installing Help Required

Hi,

I recently got Eheim 2217 Canister Filter, but i wanted to know how install all the tubes & priming procedure.

It would be of great help if anyone could help me by providing any assistance.

The tubes should be pretty straight forward. Priming... set the filter up completely, take the return tube near the tank, and suck on it. That will start the siphon. While it is siphoning, attach the tube to the return end, and plug it in when the canister is fully filled.

Yeah, what he said - just use the quick disconnect that came with it (most of them do anyway) to make it easier to not soak the floor. As soon as the siphon starts turn it off, reconnect then turn the flow back on. Let the filter fill all the way to expel air. Then turn that bad boy on.

it's possible that he didn't buy a new one, but got one used that did not include the directions . . .

but if it did come with instructions, it's really not that difficult . . . do what WyldFya said . . .
 
I am new to canister filter setup...
But the filter i got is a new box piece.. & i would like to thank you people for providing me the information..
