i need help putting the top back on the eheim , i havent used it in a couple months so i opened the top to clean the media and now i cant put it back on! help

Howdy,
Make sure the O-ring is in position. Then wet it with water or use "the poor man's lube" all around the top and also inside of the canister where it slides into. Align and and push it down.
