eheim 2229 filters still recomended? Anyone use with a hydor eth in-line heater?

eheim 2229 wet dry canister filters still recommended? Anyone use with a hydor eth in-line heater?

I found a crazy sweet deal on 2 of these used, but I have a Hydor eth in-line heater on it's way and not sure if I can use it on these

Ive had 2 hydor heaters fail (on---cooked tank) and 2 Koralias(Hydor) fail within a year.

Hydors are at the top of my list of manufacturers to avoid.

Weird on other forums people love them and they are rated #1 "like cichlidforum" for example

For my money its hard to beat a Jäger (Ehiem) heater. I tried Hydor and had multiple issues so I stick with what works for me.
