Been thinking of getting one of these filters and I wanted to know from the people on this forum who have experience with this filter are happy/satisfied with their 2260.

I am extremely happy with my 2260. I also upgraded by using the 1262 pump. You can choose whatever media you want to put in them. Very quiet, easy to set up and to clean. The only noise I ever get is when the hoses or canister body touch the stand frame or tank and that's easy to fix by moving the filter or slipping a piece of foam between the offending parties.
One of the best canisters out there (if not THE best)..... The "other" big Eheims are the only things close (2080, etc.), but the 2260 is just a very simple, absolutely dependable workhorse!
Alright thanks for the reviews guys, also how easy is it to clean these filters？I've noticed that these filters don't have any media baskets.
I have 2 2250's which is a slightly smaller version of the 2260. I love these cans, I also have newer eheims, but I definitely prefer the classic series over any of the new ones. Definitely recommend it.
