eheim 2262 flow

Looking to buy eheim 2262 or 2280 worried about 2262 having to much flow for 180 gal planted tank

get 2260 if you want less water flow rate. same filter just lower flow rate..

I can get 2262 with valves for 389.00 at kens fish and 2260 is 349 without valves.What do you have

Howdy,

If it's too much flow, then simply close the valve on the pressure side just a bit

You could drill extra holes in the spray bar... Less pressure same flow. distributed among a long spray bar you could really knock down the fire hose effect. Just a thought.
