anyone have one of these,I got a new one from a guy that never used his, still in box but no manual, I got to look at an online one and still confused. the fluvals got youtube vids and well the fx6 has a video. I notice mine has 3 hose inputs and 2 intake suction tubes. So i suppose you have 2 intakes. but with fluval it tells you in and out, The ehiem doesn't and one of the 3 hose inputs is clear. also no metal rings to tightin. It does have a 2 piece place clamp looking thing. I am still semi new and have only had experience with fluval, this thing just looks cheap and I am just plain stumped. any help or a link to video or quick start up guide

I myself am a fluval man myself but i heard some mixed reviews about eheim. I tried a quick search but found nothing... Just plug in the hoses and push the suction button and let it rip. Thats the fastest way i can think about finding out which the intakes and out take are.

just scared it will leak or somthing, I dont want to mess up, I cant find nothing either

There is no Eheim 2280. I assume you mean 2080. If so, best procedure is to put it back in the box and ask for your money back. It's a POS. Should've kept the 2260. Sorry man, but the 2080 can keep a 75 gal running, only with modifications. Poor filter.

Yea i heard ehiem sold out and now if the filter leaks which i bet it will due to reading reviews. Many people say they ignore you and tell you whats wrong with it but dont fix it under their 3 year warranty.. Makes me wana stay away from eheim.
