Eheim Everyday Feeder

I'm going on vacation for a week. I just purchased an Eheim feeder. Has anybody used this? Does it work?

I've had one for a few years. It works fine but you need to test to see how much food it puts out at any one time. It can be too much so make sure to adjust it to what you actually want to feed.

Having said that, for a week I just would not feed at all and leave it be. The fish will be fine.

I agree feed before you leave then let them fast for a week

Agreed, I left my tanks for ten days and they were fine.

There was a recent thread on feeding vs leaving. Majority, myself included, just leave without feeding. I have left mine for two weeks and others have left for longer with little issue.

I use one but not as my primary feeder. It works good for pellet but not flakes and can overfeed if you don't test it properly like said above. Make sure to test it for a couple days first. I primarily use it as a backup to feed lightly if I forget to feed in the morning.
