I have an Eheim 2217 and two Eheim 2028 knockoffs (I think) and a bunch of media just sitting around unused.
The 2217 is near-new condition. $75
The two knockoffs look just like the real 2028 (I have one of these too, it may end up for sale in a month or so) except for the fact that each hose attaches individually. They run just as quietly, move just as much water, hold just as much media, etc. I don't know who makes them. I was skeptical at first but turned them on and saw that they do the job well. It's a bit tougher to prime them but that's the only thing that's different, aside from not having a warranty.
$50 each for those. Actually one is for sale immediately, the other is up and running til a tank sells - but that one can be a demo if you're curious.
$150 for all three with the media (almost enough to fill all three). Pickup is in 60618 - near Belmont and Western in Chicago.
